Project Details
BCR won this new-build church building project in central Cambridge in an invited design competition. We then successfully won the Design and Build Tender with Farran’s Construction. We worked closely with representatives from all the various teams within the local and active church community to ensure that the building and its spaces would meet with all their needs including visitor requirements.
This building provides a large, state-of-the-art congregation, performance and service space for 600 people with world class audio visual facilities as well as number of flexible and adaptable function rooms and community spaces. Radial in plan, the building has a steel and glulam structure, clad in brick and topped with a sedum roof.
